Closing Bulls & Bears

And testbed for Google Sheet embedding - The data is correct and up to date though, enjoy!

Google Sheet Embedding Test for Graphs tabs

gsite-> Insert -> Charts (Best overall, no reason to use others)

This is the best by far. fully resizable and configurable. Don't need any other options.

gsite -> Embed -> URL (no reason to normally use this)

In gsheets publish only the tab you want, and copy the URL into the gsite embed dialog.

Be sure you publish and copy the link to the tab, not the underlying chart if you want a full sheet size. resize the chart to fit here first. For some reason it scrolls and I can't get that to stop.

Choosing the chart itself published much smaller and with less sizing control.

gsite -> Embed -> Code (no reason to normally use this)

In gsheets publish only the tab you want, and copy embedded HTML code into embed dialog (plus add height="420" width="850") - you can provide size control, but it fixes the size of the chart and it will only scroll if needed.

Be sure you publish and copy the link to the tab, not the underlying chart if you want a full sheet size.

Choosing the chart itself published much smaller and with less sizing control.

Google Sheets Embedding Tests for Table tabs

gsite -> Insert -> Sheets (Only if you want to share access to full sheet)

Choose the source spreadsheet, then select the tab in configuration control. This lets the user click through tabs and see the whole thing, cannot stop that. good scrolling and resizing.

Caution! source sheet is accessible by click through.

Refrigerator Bulls and Bears

gsite -> Embed -> URL (Best Overall)

In gsheets publish only the tab you want, and copy the URL into the gsite embed dialog. (probably easiest layout, best scrolling, but used a full width regardless of table size)

gsite -> Embed -> Code (most sizing control, finicky)

In gsheets publish only the tab you want, and copy embedded HTML code into embed dialog (plus add height="420" width="800") - size control, fixed and can be made smaller, always scrolls as it get smaller.
